• Dr. Seuss's real name is Ted Seuss Geisel.
• Ted, was voted "Least Likely to Succeed in Life" in College.
• Dr. Seuss used to work for an oil company designing silly ad's
• He remarked once: "I never learned how to draw".
• (One of my favorites) He won the Laura Ingalls Wilder Medal in 1980.
• Dr. Seuss died September 24th, 1991.
